Vessels
In this gallery we will showcase the volunteer vessels to be used for the monitoring projects, including the before/after photos of Sea Turtle, the mother ship, which has been restored by JD & Connie Gallant.

Sea Turtle had a small fire in the aft cabin and, although no structural damage occurred, the entire inside of the boat was coated with smoke and soot. The previous owner sold it "as is" and we began the gigantic task of removing all smoked and sooted items from the boat prior to tackling the general cleaning.

Sea Turtle was equipped with an old diesel Mercedes engine. It was quickly removed with plans to install electric propulsion. Temporarily, two outboard motors were fitted to the stern. It is hoped to have the electric propulsion system in place next Spring.
