About Us
Greenfleet Monitoring Expeditions is an affiliate of Base Camps of America and a partner of RV Consumer Group.
Staff
As president of Base Camps Wilderness Institute, Connie Gallant assumes the position of Executive Director of Greenfleet Monitoring Expeditions (GME). Connie has over 30 years experience in business and organizational administration. As co-founder of RV Consumer Group, she has led the Internet-based organization for approximately 10 years. Connie is active in community and environmental projects.
JD Gallant has volunteered to lead GME's special projects. In 1982, JD formed a California nonprofit organization, Base Camps Wilderness Institute (BCWI), a travel-related, educational and environmental organization.
BCWI evolved with the times and during the early 1990's, its directors and members agreed to establish a dba in Washington State under the name of RV Consumer Group, in an effort to inform the general public on specific recreational vehicles ratings and information. During 2007, the directors agreed to establish another dba under the name of Greenfleet Monitoring Expeditions to assist in the cleanup of Puget Sound and America's waterways.
With over 50 years of experience in various businesses, plus 6 years of teaching industrial arts, JD is well-equipped to lead the special projects of GME.
Other Volunteer Staff
Greenfleet is accepting applications for volunteer staff. All volunteers must go through training involving water safety, estuary basics, and the data collection process. If interested, please contact us.
